Put it into perspective Luke. Last season we faced VDS Vidic and Rio, this season its De Goof, and 2 youngsters...how dare we have room for optimism!

Not interested in your finances in here, sorry.

You're probably right Luke, but if your front line have an uncharacteristic off day, we've half a chance of at least a point, thats all, no more, no less...OT is the last crap record to bust...it can't last forever.

I've heard they've done away with the pretense and they're going to have Neville, Scholes, Keane and SAF himself as the matchday officials.

Gomes didn't do anything wrong last time, Lidls.
Nor the time before that.
Both times he ended up having decisions go against him, though.
Funny that...

What? A mass conspiracy concerning all officials?

Let's be realistic. I've conceded that you've been hard done by when you analyse some isolated decisions, but you can't claim that any of the recent results have been an unfair representation of the games played. Take the 5-2 game. You can debate the penalty decision, but it doesn't explain or excuse you being ripped to shreds by a superior team. Let's tell it how it is.

We were far better than you in the first half of that match and were doing well to keep you at bay. At the first opportunity the ref had of putting you back in the game he did and you didn't look back. If you don't think that penalty changed the game you're kidding yourself. We gave you a good game last year and were trying to push forward and put you under pressure when Clattenburg gave you a goal.

A penalty against us when we're 2-0 up and under a lot of pressure. I'm not saying our players weren't to blame for the collapse, I'm saying the decision to give you a penalty was wrong and a turning point. Are you saying that being handed, incorrectly, the turning point in the game didn't effect the outcome?

With regards to last season, surely you of all people know about a team grabbing a point(s) late on despite not being at their best?

Ridiculous.
The first goal was a turning point and the second goal came from a foul.

When one club has seen the same thing happen time and again at the same venue, it becomes psychological.
One absolutely ludicrous decision can turn a game.

If you honestly don't believe that Ferguson influences the officials, bearing in mind that it was the same ref for two of those games, then you're truly delusional.
He alienates everyone that he doesn't want taking charge of Man Utd games and instils fear into anyone that actually does get the 'privilege'.

When was the last time that we got a dodgy penalty, handballed shot, goal, sending off, etc. at Old Trafford?
We seem to face them every year.

Swings and roundabouts, my arse.

They're not excuses, either.
Would Wigan have lost so miserably to you last season if Rooney had been dismissed for his sneaky elbow?
Probably not, eh?
