Unfortunately I have a mate who is a gooner, he is not happy with the events and Wenger's transfer policy at the moment. Selling Nasri because of AOC and a Japanese teenager getting a work permit is not the answer to end their trophy draught.
Arda Turan signed for At. Madrid for just over £10mill. I think we've missed a trick there, it sounds like a good deal and we could do with an extra winger.
If Arsenal do sell Fabregas and Nasri though, then they'll be forced to spend some money. That could be a bad thing for us. At the moment they're not really going anywhere, but if they bring in a couple of good signings, then they could actually progress.
Who can they sign that is are good as Fabregas and Nasri though? Knowing Wenger he will use AOC as Nasri's replacement and Ramsey as Fabregas' replacement and sign an unknown striker for less than £10million and the rest will disappear into the club's bank account.
I wasn't really thinking of direct replacements though, King. Wilshere and Ramsey can probably put up a good fight for the creative midfield position, anyway. If Wenger took the money and signed a good, experienced keeper, a solid centre-half and a powerful holding midfielder, then Arsenal would really start to worry me. Stop lurking a post something, GS!
