Be right back, just got to delete my profiles from the IMDb and Audible so I can fit into the reality of somebody sticking up for a gobshite on talkBALLS demonstrably talking bollocks posted by somebody who posts far right bilge in the Politics thread

You could not have missed that swing any harder if you tried

No wonder I roll my eyes when I see the puerile excuses for interaction you usually post on here

I don't reply normally, but the puerile level of interaction on here is becoming unbearable.

I loved his films , apart from the obvious I had a soft spot for Bat 21 ,the Cessna sky master, one of my favourite planes

Forever the blind man in Young Frankenstein, for me.

I liked Hoosiers a lot, too. It's a simple tale but he, Barbara Hershey and Dennis Hopper elevate it to more than its script would suggest possible.

In my travels around Camden and Kentish town today I noticed quite a few men of a certain age wearing Popeye Doyle pork pie hats , in tribute I hope

Gene Hackman was always real in his film roles. A brilliant understated actor.

A natural actor with a great sense of comic timing.

He did Young Frankenstein free and uncredited, to see if he had that comic touch.

If Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder think you've got it, you've ****ing GOT IT!

Spanish fans never throw cow's heads onto the pitch anymore

We need to bring that tradition back

Also, nice header from Johnny Cardoso for Betis' opener, for those keeping an eye on him for the summer...
