With the various rumours floating around I thought about posting this on the Ex-Spurs thread....but ask the question(s) : What the **** is going on with Mickey VDV and Romero? Are they still injured or is there truth to those rumours about disciplinary issues with Romero and a serious setback with Mickey? As with so much happening in the club currently, something is not right!
You can tell when an organisation has lost focus. The main aim becomes protecting those at the top and prolonging the regime. We're definitely in that territory now. I have no doubt that Ange is a goner, but to protect Levy and ENIC from the uproar that would follow sacking him and appointing Ryan Mason again, they'd rather that we limped to the summer break. Then, they're free to appoint another chump with a couple of months grace, to hope fans calm down.
Well, with all the injured players the chances are we - and they - will be limping to the summer break!! And the Micky VDV rumours aren't going away - will not be in the squad for the weekend and hints that it is the hamstring again!
We're looking into the handling of this injury? **** me! How about the myriad of other injuries that worsen through the club's handling of them? Our medical team's management of injuries has been a known ****ing nightmare, to everyone outside the club, for years Has somebody just woken up and realised that having only 3 centre halves to play about 50 first team games, requiring them to do recovery sprints over and over and over again, in every game, then playing them when they ain't properly fit is ****ING AMATEUR.
I saw an artical where they are looking at changing VDVs style of running , apparently he has the stride of a middle distance runner but the pace of a sprinter I would have thought that the amount of technical staff that the club have that this would have been spotted when he first joined the club
Do our medical specialists look at previous medical issues and possible future problems before we spend tens of millions on an asset? You think that they'd have to...but "mate, it's Spurs, it's not what we do."
Yeah weird to miss this especially when he had hamstring injuries before. A multi million pound investment should be looked into thoroughly
Not spotted maggyblanchflower posting for what seems like a while have I missed anything? was her birthday yesterday I know this because it’s the same date as mine Hope all is well
This is the down side, not knowing about people you feel have become friends. We have lost a few over the years and most we don't what happened to them. Happy Birthday Spurlock
