The Conn house has a new "Smart TV " the thing is far smarter than Mrs Conn and me ,1/2 to get it out the box , 1/2 hr to fit the stand and just another hour to do the same with the sound bar ,couple of hrs linking to Sky and now the old TV and the packaging are going to the dump Found out the local dump does not accept drive ups ,you have to book a day and time and list the items to be dumped But hey that saved the £ 40 quid of someone unpacking the new equipment, setting it up and taking away the old units packaging
This country is ****ing nuts. In Spain, you can rock up at your local Eco-Park anytime you like...because you're not fly tipping or expecting the refuse guys to deal with it and... ...they weigh your vehicle going in...and again going out...and according to the weight difference, they adjust your council tax DOWN!!! Not ****ing up...for being a decent human being and disposing of your waste yourself. This country is ****ing upside down and the wrong way round.
