BBC News - TV fraud gang jailed for illegally streaming Premier League games https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-65697595 I wonder what the criminal offence was...
Unlicensed . unpaid for distribution of media content. Copyright infringement (if the content has broadcaster specific commentary/visuals etc) .. Did your lawyers not explain this to you during your trial ??
The second of those is not actually a criminal offence though....and I think a fine would be the maximum punishment for the first. Looking at other news sources, they were jailed for conspiracy to defraud although one of them was also convicted of money laundering as he hid £500k in his parents' bank accounts(!)
Thanks...I learned something new. The maximum penalty is 2 years though so would have been much more lenient.
The leader got 11 years...one of the others got between 3 and 5 years even though they found Child Port on his computer...talk about ****ed up sentencing ffs!
The vast majority of industrial-scale copyright infringement will be for material gain, so will be covered under the general banners of fraud etc. Similar could be done, but without the perpetrators : - seeking to materially gain - having the financial means to make restitution to the copyright holders in which case the state could seek to criminally punish (incarceration etc) the perpetrators.
Genuine question: does Deki's new fiance have a face? I ahve to ask, as she never shows it on her Insta
Quite difficult to hide your face when you're a professional footballer: please log in to view this image Her, that is, not him. Not sure she's still signed though, honestly.
In total shock - ITV have a decent programme. And it’s a comedy! “Deep Fake Neighbour Wars” - surreal and funny. Search for the neighbour dispute between Harry Kane and Stormzy
Looks like that it's safe to say that in the Neville family the only successful member as a manager is Tracey, she has the bragging rights at the Christmas dinner table
I've just seen that Barry Newman has died , Kowalski in Vanishing Point or the Lawyer Petrocelli , if you were into Americana and cars in th 70s Vanishing point was a must , the Dodge Charger was the star
I see Charlie Fairhead is leaving Casualty after 37 years. I knew the NHS waiting times were out of control, but.... (Not claiming credit for the joke, but it's very amusing)
Apparently it is the new kit , no navy shorts , all white kit is for European games only as far as I'm concerned, women's team have the navy shorts
Probably Daniel's idea as a clever ploy to make fans forget that we're not actually playing in Europe this season.
So there are photos on the internet of my mother going to the Rocky Horror Show this afternoon In other news, I am setting up a GoFundMe so I can drink this memory out of my mind ASAFP
