There must've been loads of pointless answers for that one. Are Nauru too well known now? Norfolk Island? Norfolking way is anyone getting that.

R.I.P Emilio Delgado Who? Luis in Sesame Street from 1971 to 2016. Such a wonderful programme. So much of it is still imprinted on my brain.
I went to the match at the Valley last night (unfortunately). It seemed rather fitting in the week that I said my final farewell to my mother to be in South London (she was from Peckham), and her Dad to took her to Charlton (and Millwall) when she was young. Unfortunately the actual match will not live long in the memory, a terrible attritional match with so little quality and about 4 meaningful efforts on goal, one of which the Gills keeper managed to spill to gift Charlton the 3 points. But we moan a lot on here about the quality of refereeing in the prem, but in the lower leagues the standards are getting worse, the refs performance made the players performances look good, I am not saying that he was biased he was equally poor for both sides, but some of challenges he let go in the last 10 mins as Gills pushed for an equaliser were just rank bad officiating. And the site of Charlton players staying down after every challenge in the last half hour was frankly embarrassing I know that time wasting when your winning is common place, but they really took it to the extreme and whilst the ref did add on 6 mins we lost half of those to yet another stoppage and he never showed any urgency to get them to get on with the game (and yes I am a bad loser). Finally I would like to mention the extremely heavy handed stewarding, I know that it was a bit of a local derby and I guess one of the bigger away followings that they have had this season (1500 away fans), we were all searched on the way (no problem with that) though asking my son to actually empty his pockets and and his wallet was a bit extreme, and despite these thorough searches at least 4 blue flares were set off during the game, but also they moved in and created a stand off between fans and stewards when we were trying to get behind the team in the 2nd half now I don't know exactly what was said to make the 'mobilise' and I know that The Gills have there fair share of neandathols who attend away matches but the reaction just seemed to be a bit over the top and created unnecessary tension in the away end.
Sorry for your loss TCM. Looking dire for the Gills. I look out for 2 teams in League 1 - Gills cause they are local and AFC Wimbledon cause of connections I have. One or other is going down, possibly both.
Neil Harris has given the Gills some hope, but against an out of form Charlton side last night they needed something if only to keep up the bit of momentum, currently I think that one of Gills & AFC will survive as Crewe, Fleetwood, and Doncaster are looking really doomed. The Gills certainly look more solid now it will probably come down to whether they can score enough goals to win the requisite number of games.
Sorry for your loss TCM, I am originally from East Dulwich and my first team as a lad was The Hamlet but the first pro game I ever went to was at the Den, with the sloping pitch, to see Millwall v Reading in the FA cup late 50's early 60's The whole place stunk of fried onions and piss. I never went there again. All part of my journey to becoming a Spurs fan.
