I honestly can't see him going anywhere, he was a decent chairman originally and the Gills enjoyed there best ever times reaching the championship for a few seasons in the early 2000s, and even flirting with the play offs again a couple of times in the last few years. But he is not a particularly wealthy chairman (despite living in Dubai) with most of his wealth coming from the club.

It does therefore remain in his own interests for the club to remain competitive, but despite many promises about finding new investment the club appears to be on a downward spiral, but they have been relegated before and bounced back we will just have to see if he can turn it around again.

I could never understand why he took so long to sack Fatty Evans. I can only assume he was sympathetic to the huge injury situation at the time. All this whilst Evans was openly whoring himself to other clubs, Stevenage was allegedly one of them. I have worked with Paul Raynor many years ago and remember him as a decent guy, yet I see him now as Steve Evans’ twin almost, as he’s just as volatile on the touch line. Scully and Evans was always going to end in tears.

I mean, first things first, why Steve Evans gets considered for jobs considering his track record of dodgy dealings would be the first concern...

He certainly divides opinion, even at the clubs he is appointed. I firmly believe that he should not be allowed anywhere near any football club after what happened at Boston, but you can guarantee that he will be back in a management job by next season, because he does get results, though a bit like a certain ex Spurs manager he has certain shelf life and Gillingham have just found that out.

You’re right, he will get another job. He doesn’t like to be too far away from the A1 as he’s based in Peterborough I believe, which explains why he was after the Stevenage job.

Would now be a bad time to mention that, technically, this means you have something in common with Laurence Fox?

Whatever you do, do not appoint Lee Johnson, now the ex Sunderland manager. Believe me, he’s a bigger twat than Evans.

I'm convinced I got it in Jan 20 , I had the flu like symptoms and shivers, raging headaches, I'm fully jabbed up but since then I struggle to walk any distance and my breathing is often laboured after a medium distance

My son’s going to Portsmouth to study palaeontology (that’s how Google wants to spell it). A ****hole with naval history from
what I’ve seen of it, although the Isle of Wight is nice and is full of dinosaurs.

Having been to the Isle of Wight, I have two main memories
    i.) The place hasn't realised it isn't 1932
ii.) My primary school got a permanent ban from the campsite we were on, and 99% of that had nothing to do with me

I went to the Isle of Wight when I was 64, reckon I was the youngest on the island by about 20 years.

One of my dad's brothers owned a hotel on the Isle of Wight. Once he had a guest by the name of Oliver Reed...yes, that one. To replicate the experience, get an angry, randy baboon **** faced drunk and let it run amok in your home.
