You said 'at one point that might be on the cards' but now you can't back up your bullshit claim. #HIAGfailures
No, it was definitely on the cards at some point, but Palace fell away, and Arsenal found some form. I distinctly remember it.
But you said, and I quote that 'Palace will push Arsenal all the way' and now you're saying that it was only early on. Did you forget that we beat Palace twice last season ? Perhaps you meant it was Spurs who Palace would push, seeing as they were the next placed London club to you and because they beat you away and almost did the same at WHL.
Things get hazy for me after a few hours, PISKIE. I never like to remember facts for long than I have to.
The question we should be asking is whether Arsenal can challenge West ham's illustrious history on the European stage
You know when the wums are desperate when they start counting the intertoto cup I think the bigger question here is can Bilic take the Hammers further than the Spuds in this year's Europey Pot ?
To be fair they have won one proper European pot like Arsenal. But they have also won a European trophy more recently than you!!
West Ham have a European history winning a trophy three decades before Arsenal. Arsenal did not know where Europe was until 1994
The gap narrowed between us and the spuds last season. With a little more squad depth we could have finished much nearer to them. Now, with a far better manager & various new signings for us, and with that simple looking, arsenal supporting striker leaving spuds for Man Utd, we can run them very close this coming season.
Yes it did, from 29 to 17 points. So close! At least you were in the same division, so progress. And I have news for you, you had the better manager last season, Bilic is nothing special. Fat Sam is always underrated and we'll see if you kick on this year. I doubt it.
