I don't think he's better on the ball, I think Tiote's strength and balance make him a nightmare, and he draws in a lot of fouls also. He's got great skill on the ball, and when he's fit, his decision making is a lot better than it's been over the last couple of games. His reactions are poor when he first comes back.

Bigi will be better passer, you can see the potential straight away. Tiote is a bit inconsistent with his passing, but often pulls off some fantastic passes. The first pass he made yesterday to Obertan was canny.

Great lineup if ever true. Btw what was Bigi doing, some sort of witch doctor ritual on the pitch?

It would be a bit unbalanced, but for pure aliteration it would be hard to beat twin Tiotes behind double Dembas, supported by alternate Ameobis

Very impressed with the lad and an absolute steal at 1m. He could be anything at this stage, and I'm sure once Cheik has installed the Tiote Tenacity into him he'll be even more effective. In terms of his touch and passing I've really enjoyed watching an 18 yr old with so much confidence in his own ability.

Still believe we should take our time with him as Pards is doing because he is only 18 and has time on his side. However having now watched Gosling I've decided he will never amount to anything more than a Championship player at best. I believe we should now just promote Abeid and use him and Bigismalls as the back up to Tiote and Cabaye. Yes they're both young but I can't see any sense in allowing lesser players play ahead of them or buying someone in to restrict their opportunities. I do think bigismalls sits 3rd choice for DM anyway as its probably Perchino's best position.

    Have to agree about Gosling.

I will him to do well every time I watch him, but my heart sinks as soon as he sets foot on the pitch.

Still, he's the first dud signing since Xisco (the jury still being out on Obertan) and he was free

Worth a punt but they can't all come off. I've never known a lad disappear for such long periods when playing centre mid! I heard Pards raving about his yardage covered in the EL games and could only think "which just goes to show why stats are ****"!!!! We analysed it the other night and said who needs to go:

    Willo, Gosling, Xisco, Ranger

Who is has it all to prove:

Obertan - headless chicken who lacks confidence and basically never delivers anything telling. He has his uses in terms of creating space with his pace.
Marveaux - wand of a left peg but heart like split pea and the injuries seem to have robbed his pace.

Then we had this lad as an unknown:

Vuckic - Talented undoubtedly. Very very lazy. Pathetic at times in his lame attempts when we don't have the ball. Then in certain moments you think "hang on there is something to work with here". I'm basically not convinced he'll develop the drive in his play to make an impact.

Thats what I meant better passer. His passing range is much superior to Cheick's from the little I've seen.

...................... and it's Taylor to Taylor, to Demba who passes it to Demba who passes it to Ameobi who in turn passes it to Ameobi and yes, ....................................................... it's a GOAL!

Cool Assessment. What if we combined Vuckic's talent with Gosling's yardage covered?
