Scholes was filth. The poor tackler excuse didn't wash at all. He was bitter about his hair colour.

Yeah he got his comeuppance that day. I liked him when he played for us in the championship - he got away with it. I remember a game against Watford and Lloyd Doyley was kicking anything that moved. A few of ours were pussying out and not fancying it. He got the ball turned near the touchline - by the time he turned Smith was already hitting him with the old firm but fair tackle at full tilt. He did a somersault and landed on his shoulders. I was on my feet in appreciation.

    Completely accidental <whistle>

The FA confirmed this to be true. Lennon was a dirty ****er so he couldn't really complain either way. Another angry ginger.

Lee Cattermole holds the premiership record for bookings. The sad Mackems worship him like a demi god.

    Callum Mcmanaman

I know some of ours like to moan about the Haidara tackle which wasn't great, but he is generally a filthy player. Loves leaving his studs in. Its more of snidey kind of filth with this kind of player.

Whereas someone like Keane or Smith was just openly "I'm gonna do you" type.

Think it was being debated last season by Bri and Windy and they seemed to agree that he was one or two cards away from the record.

That looks like clumsiness than out right thuggery.

Doesn't make it any less of a stone wall red card though.

He seems to be clumsy a little too often though, doesn't he?

The best bit for me is their number 5, van der Hoorn, appealing on the third replay.
Sees his teammate kick someone in the face and his instinct is to call for a free-kick for his own team! <laugh>

Reading's Stephen Hunt, Destroyer of Goal keepers.
JT had to play in goal because the Hunt the **** brained both our keepers, nearly killing one of them.
