When my eldest was born, and even when he was a toddler, he was so easy to parent. I used to look at friends whose children were misbehaving and think "just get a grip, this parenting lark is easy!"

Then my second son was born and I realised that 90% of it is luck!!!

the other 10% is common sense.

I'm wondering if I should take the family out for the boat race this weekend.

Usually a good laugh if the weather is nice.

I will defo watch the cricket. Come on Swanny!!!!

Not really that bothered about the England/Wales game, internationals are usually crap. I'd rather watch paint dry than watch a grand prix, I don't get it at all :)

Yeah, that was funny. The player/manager has a reputation for being a bit of a nutter anyway. Danny Thomas was playing in that game(young goalkepper on loan from Bournemouth) he lives across the road from me. Anyway, he was saying that the players were pissing themselves when it happened.

It's a pretty good place to watch football even if the stadium reminds me of lego, and they will often have some good young players from Bournemouth on loan.

TUC million man march this weekend, I'm charging ITN a small fortune to have extra security at their studios and with each of their news vans so it great as far as I'm concerned <ok>
Don't think they'll be anywhere near the boat race though, they're marching from Embankment to Westminster, though obviously public transport will be chaos if they get the million people turning up they're hoping for.

No probs mate, hope you have a good day, never been myself but someone told me Putney bridge (i think it was) gets silly busy and it's one of the worse places to try and see the race from, if that helps.

I think we're going to be in Putney as that's where some work colleagues are going to be. She's mentioned that the view is rubbish and it's far too busy but they go there every year.
