We could win all 5 away games but we have tough home games left. If Barns draw next week and we win at Accy(weather permitting) and Rochdale the Burton game a week on Tues will be massive but should be ahead of them after the Cov/Doncaster doncaster game.
Meh. Neither are any threat to 2nd and there's no way we're finishing below 6th. Not much difference between any of the playoff places really so I'm not fussed what anyone other than Luton or Barnsley do.
I don’t see us missing out on second now. Barnsley’s lack of goals is killing them, we can afford to lose one, even fail to win 2 of the games in hand and still be within a win if Barnsley won every game. They’ve drawn 5 out of 8 scoring just 8 goals including a 92nd minute escape last week. We’ve won 5 from 8 but in that period we’ve scored 15 goals. Barnsley have the issue we had pre-Grigg, they are a talisman short and it’s hurting them. We are going up second.
Here's my prediction: Luton -champions - so far ahead. Bit between their teeth. No stopping or catching them. Barnsley - suffering a loss of confidence at the moment. Whether they maintain second or fall to play offs is psychological. If we win the next two they will be frazzled and collapse. The lads - if we win the next two we will go up. If we even get a draw and one win it will go down to the last kick of the season. Portsmouth - they will fall away after their brilliant win on Sunday The rest - not bothered
