    Who Spurs or Sunderland?

I think Van Gaal had about 60 and had to use 40 players in his first season at United... something like that anyway.

Sunderland, heard it on the radio a few days back.

We don't have many Jan Vertognen out for 2 months or so and Alderweireld was taken off as a precaution, he will be back for Sunderland game. Lamela long term injury, apart from that full strength.

Looking good again now, Spurs. Alderweireld is one hell of a player.

Do you reckon Poch will go for the title? I'm hoping you go right to the wire again, focus on that, as it looks like we may need to go down the Europa League route for CL this season, after our slow start.

I think we aim to go for the title, we certainly play like we want to achieve things, currently it's one of them situations where we just need to plug away and hope to make the points up...id love to win the Europa league. The Next Europa league fixtures sandwich the next FA Cup round. I think if we are too far behind to even dream in the league at that stage then Poch will go for the European route. Not necessarily to get CL footy, because I think we can get a top 4 spot, but to win silverware.

I'm sure both of our teams would prefer to avoid each other, until the final. Not many strong teams left in it.

United and Spurs are the strongest teams in it. That's why I want us to go for it....id rather a trophy and 4th than finish 2nd.

I think McNair was considered a regular in our back four for a while.

Borthwick-Jackson at LB, he can't even get a game for Wolves now.

    How does cryotherapy work?

Once you’re inside the chamber, you’ll get a burst of nitrogen gas every thirty seconds or so. The freezing gas surrounds your entire body which causes your blood to rush away from your limbs and towards your core in an attempt to warm and protect your vital organs from an icy funeral. It puts you into survival mode, and fills your blood up with oxygen. When you step out of the chamber, your blood immediately rushes back to your arms and legs and you’ll feel a warm, almost tingly sensation. That means it’s working.

If you have a sports injury, whether it’s a contusion or a strain, the blood running to the core and then coming back to the limbs with oxygenated blood redevelops injured cells and helps you heal faster

    Sounds good to me.

We should get Kirchhoff back in there, it clearly works for him.

That does sound like bollocks to be fair, I don't know though I just remember Tel saying it does nowt and I believe he knows about these things.

As I said though even if it's just a placebo there's something to be said for it.

He can keep generally match fit, if he's managed right, though. We have seen that, last season. He was getting subbed off after about 70mins at first, but coming towards the end of the season, he was playing longer and even finishing matches.

Doubt Sam would have the club forking out for the players to use these after every session just if it was a placebo.

    Nooooo, no no no no.

No it doesn't help you HEAL faster.

Sorry Stu I know you haven't written that article, it's a copy/paste job.

    It's a glorified ice pack.

When the body produces a chemical to inflame an injured area of the body, freezing the area can stop the inflammation, sounds good right? Wrong. Inflammation is essential to tissue repair, the human body is more intelligent than ice, always will be.

It won't prevent or cure injuries, what it is good for is when an uninjured player has to go again the following day and this thing will take away any sort of DOMS that may occur (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness).

The fact that it worked for Sam is because he probably uses meticulous training programs that kept his players fit... Maybe give him the credit and not the machine.
