Found this on OTIB,it's his E-mail he sends out to his fans after a match..

Thought you might be interested to read this. Sam Allardyce sends out a regular e-mail to West Ham fans and these are his thoughts about last night:

'Although the chance of automatic promotion is not mathematically over it's going to be very difficult now. We can only really look towards Middlesbrough beating Southampton on Saturday and us beating Leicester on Monday to take it to the big last game of the season at home to Hull City.

'The amount of chances we created and then didn’t take against Bristol City is the hardest thing to take. On the dominance of play, on power of play and on chances created it should have been a victory for us. Because we've missed those chances, we've not capitalised on a very dominant and powerful performance by the players.

'We ended up with a draw from a very good performance with the vast majority of the play in the opposition penalty box. We were in complete control of the game from start to finish and, even though they had a little spell after they scored, we took complete control again in the second half.

'We can't really have created any more chances than we created away from home. When the ball went squirming across the box it just wouldn't deflect off someone and go into the back of the net for us. A scruffy goal or any goal would have done for us, but we just couldn't find it.

I heard the arrogant pricks post match interview to those words.

Think West Ham must know he talks bollocks by now, when yes they did have some chances in the second half but no real goal threats. We had the best chance when Green saved Woods shot. They seemed to try and play high ball over everyone's head in case that huge sack of lazy **** Carew decided he wanted to jump for the ball.

We held our own against them, but if he wants to blame anything he should blame himself. He has a goal scorer in Carlton Cole but he thought he could do without him. He also had that player Baldock who was scoring for fun early on in the season.

I really believed West Ham was going to walk this division, but with that useless manager the fans must be pissed of with going from playing entertaining football to the dross he brings to clubs. And to also have a clause in his contract for release if England managers becomes available.

By starting NM he sort of did us a favour, Nicky hasnt been as deadly as pre injury, must have thought we would succumb to the fear factor of NM...

I thought they out played us, so Sam says,...(Imo I thought it was about 49 -51 ). So if they were that good why not score a decent goal, going with the attitude of any old scruffy goal is hardly inspirational.
 
When I heard the interview I looked at the stats - possession was 47% - 53%. They also had more shots.
However, how many saves did Deanno have to make? Green made a very good save from Wood's shot in the second half.
He loves his statistics, but the only one that matters is GOALS.
He is so defensive when interviewed - his job must be under threat - Reading and Southampton will finish above them with much smaller budgets.
When they needed a goal on Tuesday, Allardyce's plan was to bring on Big John Carew and lump it long!!!!!
Thank God that bloke did not get the England job.

today is a big game for WHAM.. they desperately need 3 points and a 3-4 goal win margin...

ironic for NM as well, but in a perverse sort of way good for us he went to WHU. Had he signed on would we have had the same influx of players? Pitters and Steady coming good as front men etc etc we will never know, other than we did it without him..

Blackpool could be the 3rd team if WHU arent up to the job to join Reading..since we played them they have been in formidable form, makes our defeat less of a bad taste
 
I sat with a group of Hammers fans on the bus back into the Centre and they were obviously unhappy about the result but totally pissed off with the fact that West Ham, who have been acknowledged for decades as an "on the ground" footballing club have under Allardyce, resorted to kick and rush. Very sad for English football when this happens at it sets back our national game on the international scene when so called top clubs decide to play this way. As Brian Clough said once; "If football had been meant to be an aerial sport, it would need grass planted in the sky!"
 
Allardyce kept saying the West Ham way was losing football - if they don't go up playing his kick and run style he will look very stupid
