So, to be fair, he could be out the door and back in the north-east by 10:30/11:00-ish.

They might have been in the gym on light training this morning with the coaches.

We don't know how their training is programmed.

Than back to Manchester for the Book signing early afternoon? Nah mate. Don't buy that.

Personally If I took over the manager of the bottom club in my first week with the full squad together with the derby that weekend. It would be double training all week, physical in the morning classroom theory and bonding in the afternoon. Not to say he hasn't done that but there's definitely been a day just before the derby he's had a day off. Obliged I know. But it does chip away at the confidence for this weekend knowing the Manager has been out plugging a book instead of being with his squad.

I didn't know about the book signing in the afternoon in Manchester. Takes today out from being with the squad doesn't it.

Not good timing. Anyway, it's only a book for f**** sake! Nothing that couldn't be put off until Monday, surely.

The publisher has obviously held him to the agreed dates. Surprised they didn't move it forward a week for the international break.

This is probably a daft question but do you ever hear of players just practising now or are they clever twats who think they have made it and couldn't give a toss.
