He was never ever going to come here with the owner we have at present and no cash to oil his ego with.
Thinking about it makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up doesn't it!! Awesome day - and the beginning, we all thought, of a massive time for our club. A time when we could look forward to the next season! Then the FA shafted us and the rest, as they say, is history!!
As long as the brown envelope is loaded per his requirement I doubt vey much he’ll actually give a toss whether they’re relegated or not.
I think you’ll find that it was Allardyce that shafted us.

Don't get me wrong - when he left it never sat right with me. But the FA had ample opportunity to get him before he got to SAFC and they ignored him. They could've just kept ignoring him for me.

Good luck to him, and he will need it, shame that Ross fired the wrong man, it was his first big mistake imo.
First game didn't go too well. The only other time he's lost his first game in charge was when he arrived here!
I think the automatic assumption he'll avoid relegation might be wrong this time.

Smacks of buying time to get players in and working with them on the training ground before they have to play again. He never made any mention of it three days again when taking the plaudits for a point at Liverpool. I think he knows he's maybe bitten off more than he can chew this time.
if it can help move them above Newcastle and puts them in the bottom three, i wont be too upset,
