The old adage, football players pretend they are hurt, rugby players pretend they are not. There were some 'hits' in that game that would have broken me in half!

England were brilliant today to beat a team unbeaten in World Cups for years ,special mention to the referee Nigel Owen who though missed a couple of forward passes had an excellent game though due to his involvement today will probably not get the final which would be a shame . How long is it since you thought the referee was a contender for man of the match .

Saw a clip on Twitter of a international match and the ref says to the two captains "stop talking back, we are not playing soccer". Brilliant

That'll be Nigel Owens, he officiated today. If you YouTube him there are some right funny clips but what's really interesting is the respect he, as an official, gets from the players.

Think I'd rather we faced South Africa as I work with some Welsh lads and they would be unbearable

It's great watching a semi final knowing we are in the final already, one day we might be in the same position with the England football team.

He’s a very good referee and controls things brilliantly.

It helps that the players have total respect for the officials, if only footballers had the same attitude.
 
Wales look awful when they can't get the ball in hand and run at the defence and the Boks only have their power game at the set pieces.
