Grand National winner was 66/1, who would have thought it? Certainly not beyond the bounds of possibility but I think I'll keep my hard earned where it is for now....
We are a rabble. After last season, I didn't think that it could get any worse but guess what........
Well football can be a very strange game, it would be just like us to turn this around. Be interesting to see how people are feeling if we do win and the likes of stoke and sunderland continue to struggle.
If we beat Everton it would put us back on track (I had Everton down as a defeat anyway but after the Wigan game it is now one we have to win) but it may still be another false ray of hope. Out of the teams above us, the most vulnerable I feel is Stoke who are falling quicker than a whore's knickers in the back streets of Soho.
If we do somehow get a result against Everton, it will get all our hopes up, but I fear it will be short-lived. I'm not relishing the last three games, they will be pressure games & we've seen how we respond to pressure. Probably too little too late. Thanks Hughes. We needed to emulate the winning streak of Southampton. They were in the s**t with us when Adkins got sacked, but the have progressed and got the results except against the Superhoops, they look pretty secure now.
