Perhaps I should opt to watch cycling each time
A big game comes up on our list,
The ´Vuelta Espana` had a major climb
I really did not want to miss

So imagine my surprise with a half-time ´two nil´
To find the result said ´two four´,
Maybe young Adams N can fit the bill
At least we´re now able to score

It sounded from what I read that we were dull
Before the half-time cup of tea,
But certainly we filled our pockets well full
In a second half goalscoring spree

And good to see others on the scoring sheet
Some who very rarely are there,
Cardiff I doubt will be that often beat
So soundly, so well worth a beer. <cheers> OTBC

Must have been very rousing in the second half dave, and nice to get one over on old Pilks - the result in the Vuelta was also more than satisfactory, so a very good day all round! :)

Hi skald bor, looking on the bright side we came from 2 nil down to win, but I agree with NA : we should not have put ourselves in that position.

It is ok when we manage to reverse a halftime deficit but what happens when the opposition shuts up shop. Far better if the team puts in a stint from the off rather than NA giving a ballocking at halftime, that attitude cost us our PL status last season. Professionals should not have to be told to pull their fingers out ! NA has got to overcome that complacency.

NA is proving he has the ability to manage, my mugwump is beginning to come off the fence !

Rex ok, keeping you in order ?

No, but we can´t necessarily expect him or them to get it completely right every time, at least he had enough about him to make a difference in the second half. And, as Adams also said, if god forbid the same scenario should happen again, at least we´ll have this to remind ourselves that we can turn it round. <ok>

I have been told - 'we learn more from our mistakes than we do from our successes!!!' Let's hope that particularly applies to Hoolahan and Johnson was it whose mistakes ler to the 2 Cardiff goals!!
