Obviously rangers will go straight into the Irn Bru Third Division...which you have to expect they would win ; One and counting Timmy.
"receivership" <shock> NOooooooooooooOOOOOOO Please..... i am loving this death by a thousand cuts. Receivership would be like spending £15 on a pay per view and it being a first round ko.
I've now read the 'exclusive' and it doesn't look pretty for Rangers or Whyte. But one thing that stood out for me is Keith Jackson's two page spread with the title "Just call him a billionaire". The gist is that Whyte and his 'PR gurus' spun it so that he was made out to be far wealthier than he actually was/is. No ****ing ****. Jackson now says 'those figures have rarely looked like adding up'. So why on earth did he, Traynor etc etc have front page headlines in the DR of "Billionaire scot to buy Rangers for £30m", and refer to him for months as a "billionaire"? The back track is almost complete but all they've done is highlight their own utterly incompetent journalism / investigative reporting.
Jackson/Traynor et al have stitched Rangers fans up here. Traynor was salivating at the thought of fresh lamb when he heard a "billionaire" was away to buy Rangers. Jackson is a fud of the highest order. Remember his Scott Brown story from the Mowbray season?
You've got to remember they're journalists and they get sued at the drop of a hat if they make an accusation they can't substantiate. It's okay for the likes of RTC who's just an anonymous bloke on the internet. It's more telling that a lapdog loyal paper like the Daily Record is now starting to print whst everyone else knew. Why aren't the Sun, Herald, Scotsman doing likewise?
