If Sunderland are not bottom of the table on Christmas day, maybe and maybe Sam Allardyce can keep
them up.
Current bottom Four:

17 West Brom 8 points

18 Aston Villa 4 points
19 Sunderland 3points
20 Newcastlw 3 points.

I f the season ends today clubs in red are relegated.

If the season ends today, Jurgens job is in jeopardy after a poor first season in charge, and Jose is a goner

Fat Sam is a useful manager who has his place.

However, that place, is way below Rafa.

Rafa said wetransferred a player to Southampton but checked and wehadnt (while he was in charge). Wondered what he meant

It doesn't even make sense that Bolton would play Southampton at that time, because Southampton were relegated in 2005 weren't they??

He's either talking absolute waffle, he's talking about youth teams & player transfers OR he's had his dates/teams mixed up. Probably waffle.

I actually hadn't read the link when I made my comment but I have now - he seems a little confused with who we sold to who and when <ok>

Dribbs posted this in the transfer thread so this is probably what Rafa meant

Former Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez offered Southampton £1m plus midfielder Darren Potter for Gareth Bale in 2006. (Daily Star)

Ah thanks for clearing that up. Darren Potter, forgot about him, young local lad was on loan with Southampton at the time we're talking about. Now with MK Dons <ok>
