Rhondda, Just one question where were you when cardiff won the fa cup, ok congratulations on making the final but the whole point in making a final is winning it how many trophies have cardiff picked up from finals (playoff, fa cup, league cup) in the last 10years.
Cardiff are all about reaching but not grasping , they reach these finals against lower teams because of lucky draws , but just can't get over the hump when they finally face a team of substance in the final . Maybe they can lose that tag today but I've me doubts .
Not sure how many games but Cardiff City have played in the top flight 14 seasons. How many have the Swans ?
Anyone that knows the history of Cardiff City Football Club through the 1920's know there were silver spooned right from the start by being allowed to jump a division right from the start for no apparent reason . There brief , good history at the start was silver spooned by dodgy decisions from the operators of the league at the time , along with a weak league starting up after the great war .,
With selling the farm & not getting to the Premier & Swansea making it on peanuts , you must be looking in a mirror Rhondda
I am jealous swansea are in the prem and we are not. It hurts. I would be jealous if the swans were at wembley today and we werent. Any swans fan who isnt a little jealous of today is lying. Imho anyway.
ok how many finals have you won in the last 20, 30, 40, 50 and so on that is where i was going just used the 10 years as an example
"Jealousy",particularly when related to something akin to football,is clearly an indication of a troubled individual. Someone whose life is so empty, and meaningless, that they can only feel a sense of worth via some sporting affiliation. Your assertion that "any Swans' fan isn't a little jealous of today is lying" is too much of a generalisation. I,for one,am unable to feel this "jealousy",especially when there are far more important things to feel "jealous" about. "Jealousy" of the type that you allude to,merely indicates a weak, insecure person, and I suspect that's what you are. "Imho anyway".
I can honestly say I am not in the slightest bit jealous of Cardiff today. You are in a final, fair enough, but when you lose the game (Could be surprised), what exactly have you achieved? Nothing, just a meaningless runners up medal. Wether you like it or not, the League cup is of no importance to anyone. Most teams take it as a chance to see what their youngsters/reserves are like, which in turn gives the lower league teams a chance to have a cup run. The minute Buck named our lineup V Shrewsbury, you could see he didn't take it seriousley and I'm sure every Jack was relieved we lost, as unlike yourselves, we have a major league to remain in.
All this "you must be jealous" nonsense,is rather embarrassing. The team from the Capital City bigging up a tournament they rubbished not so long ago,is quite pathetic. You be "jealous" if you want/need to be. Actually, you've got great reason to be. SWANSEA CITY ARE A PREMIER LEAGUE SIDE,YOU ARE NOT. Sensible people would see that as trumping any involvement in The Carling Cup. Anyway,as already posted by yours truly, hope you have a nice day.
Unlucky Cardiff, tough way too lose, thought you were out of it when Kuyt scored, but fair play you stuck at it.
Fantastic team effort by the Cardiff players & there brilliant manager , hopefully the owners were watching how tired the Bluebirds became & get them a bit of help before the loan window closes . They were one penalty kick away from winning , horribly unlucky !
