Of course. Doubt you ever got 46,000 last season in the Championship, when you were ****e. Still impressive though.
Thanks. I didn't go but heard they probably should have slaughtered us. I heard they were down to 10 men for a good part of the second half after having used all their subs, followed by an injury. We got lucky yesterday and survived on commitment which is all you can ask at this level.
Not sure about that mate. Wasn't this voted one of the best ever games at Wembley? **** thing is we lost it, and some **** from Sunderland scored a hat trick against us...Wasn't popular after that.
Given the match's importance as a final to determine league promotion and the highly unlikely turnaround in the final minutes, the game has been regarded as one of the most exciting in English football history[5] and highlights of the game have been repeatedly shown on television. Manchester City fans and other commentators also regard the game as a crucial first step in the club's revival from the third tier of English football to its current status as yearly contenders for the Premier League championship
The only difference between all four clubs is, City are now a powerhouse, the other 3 are still ****.
I read an article some time ago, and it questioned where Man City would be today if they had actually lost that game.
It was classed as one of the most importaqnt games in their history, aside from actually winning any sort of silverware i mean. It was even suggested, that if they had lost that game they might have even gone out of business.
