Selling players when offers come in for them is one thing but this advertising that players can go is all wrong.

We're destroying what is basically a good winning team.

    This.

I love Cheick so much. Honestly, he's absolutely priceless to us. There's no better centre midfielder in the Prem right now.

The way i take is that Pardew is refering to the Carroll senario, If a bigger top 4 team comes in and offers huge wages, the players head will be turned.....We're not going to be in a position to match whats been offered and if a local lad who was idolised can stick 2 fingers up at the club/fans then anyone can...

just my thought, but im probably wrong

Ultimately it is the players choice, if Tiote truly wants to stay theres nothing Ashley can do to make him go.

That is no way to run a Premier League football club. "Hoping" they become succesful is a very risky business, and if they don't then what? get relegated again, then what are your finances like Mr Ashley? Fools. <doh>

Apparently Chelsea failed with a bid for Tiote. Saw it on the BBC gossip and columns!

I think that this statement invites people to put a bid in for him!

It's all well and good saying if a bid comes in he's off but will he want to go?
