Just believe in what you want to believe in mate, it's your life. Fook what others think.

I was born into a Christian family or what my mum would call CofE. However, I'm not religious, but respect and take an interest in all faiths. There is no religious temple or place of worship, that I would not step inside, because life is about exploring.

My only non belief is cults. I think they can be a dangerous entity created by unscrupulous people on the vulnerable in our society. I suppose that's where this paragraph and the one above could collide and people ask, what's the difference. I can't answer that one for you.

As I say, I'm not religious but I do have one belief and that's called fate, maybe, just maybe, that's where me and buddism, could share an interest. My prinicple in life has always been I will go where fate takes me.

Thanks for the tongue in cheek moment mate, seems I'm at loggerheads with elders and most of the people. I may be wrong but most religions as I know purport love and understanding amongst our brothers and I appreciate how this can be diluted at times. but it's a genuine question.

Tbh mate nobody owns any faith, and the irony is anyone who thinks themselves to be a Buddhist but says you can't be one surely is contradicting that very faith?

I have a great deal of respect for the faith itself, especially the central tenet of meditation - both spiritually and mentally it's extremely powerful. It can be laughed off but I've known plenty who've tried it and been impressed by how effective it is, including myself.

That's not to say I respect all Buddhists. I've come across some right hypocritical ****s, but that's true of every faith so I don't let that influence my opinion of the faith itself.

I don’t think any religion encourages rape if that’s what you’re asking bro.
I personally don't know of one but this is my question mate. People percieveably twist things by design or otherwise to their own ends. I was genuinely asking id others had felt the same?
