Beye and Bassong

    Although I'm not a massive Taylor fan, in fairness he was asked to play on the left which puts your positioning right off for a CB. He was terrible that day though, Villa should have been given a penalty.

    Also he deflects a few goals too, Liverpool and Chelsea at home come to mind.

    Would definitely take Bassong back, CB isnt a priority, but for £4.5m I dont see why not. He wanted PL football, cant blame him for leaving. With Taylors injury history I dont see why we'd turn down Bassong - he's a better option than Willo and arguably better than Taylor.

    Colo, Taylor, Bassong, Williamson and Kadar would be a very strong set of CB options. For £4.5m I'd definitely have him back and can't imagine him asking too much in wages.

    Beye, I'd have him as cover for Simpson but only if he'd accept fair/low wage (<£15kpw).
