Just having a google and I struggle to see how it could ever be called anything else, but from it's inception from the Welsh March's* until the 1970's it seems neither us nor the Welsh wanted it. I guess that explains why it was listed seperately though. *(I don't know what they are, I just read it)
Now that's a nice pair of wellies, down in Cardiff, your woolly mammoth will be spoilt for choice with the attention you'll get from them!
Are we so bored of debating the origins/history/end of Humberside that we're having the same discussion about the Monmouthshire now?
You can't debate Humberside, it doesn't exist. Monmouthshire exists, the question is why no bugger wants it.
Hope so and with both teams confirmed for the top 2 spots BUT BIG BUT...The Championship Title decider game. Nothing like a little bit on the side as WE ALL HATE LEEDS.!!!!! Depends on if you are talking about sport or life in general ??
Blimey last time I was watching City in Cardiff John Toshack was making his debut, or there abouts, and Ken Wagstaff scored all 4 goals in our 4 - 2 win oh and the Rolling Stones were playing in concert in Cardiff that day and the place was teaming with girls, quite a day.
I'm sure Cardiff fans would rather have their party at theirs rather than up here on Humberside- but we'll keep a welcome in the........etc
LOL oh they were believe me they were I ended up writing to one of them for quite a while none of this facebook/twitter/ e-mail thing then baaaaaaaaaa
Has Middlesbrough finally accepted it's a North Yorkshire town or is it still trying to wade into County Durham?
I remember the headlines that weekend..."Stones in town..... Waggy bags 4.... Ewe invents sheep pen... Jagger can't get no satisfaction !" Waggy scored more goals against Cardiff than any other team in his career..could do with him back on May 4th. oink oink
