That was my error (not the only one) in Week 1, thought I'd transferred him before the deadline but only after the event realised I handn't clicked the 'Confirm' button. He's gone now, but at a price.

    Hope fantasy doesn't become reality.

The key to winning fantasy football is Everton. My friend is playing this year, I'm sort of guiding him which players to chose and lose. Everton are always fantastic value. Got goals in their team and only the top four concede less. Players like Howard, Baines, Jags, Pienaar and Jelavic are worth their weight in gold. Take note.

Whilst not directly related to fantasy football I too have been guilty of tempting fate regarding FFC... A good friend of mine regularly puts small bets on a team to win, he doesn't predict scorelines and only puts £2 on so he never loses or gains too much, its just a bit of fun. However last season he encouraged me to join in. I picked 5 bets 3 of which were on Fulham wins. Those games were the 3-0 loss to Swansea, the 3-1 loss to Everton and of course the 5-0 loss to United. So yeah. Sorry guys...

EDIT: worth mentioning the other two were on Manchester derbies and paid off fine. I have already sworn to never bet on Fulham results again :)
