Well that’s not the point I’m making. I’m saying that drivers are empowered to enforce conditions of carriage (they generally don’t let you on without paying, for instance) but they had zero powers to enforce mask wearing in the soon to be gone regime. Whether they have time or inclination to enforce all the conditions is a separate matter that varies from individual to individual.

I’ve offered to help them set up a password before so that they can then ring me and have me accept the call when they tell me the password.
Of course they have to prove their identity to be given a password, but that’s how security works I’m afraid.

I didn't, but if it makes you happy, you feel free to be right. <ok>

FFS, it was a light hearted comment. <doh>

I have asked some of them for their bank details before I can proceed, and they get quite indignant.

The government does like to leak stuff to the Telegraph, but I'm not going to pay too much mind to that since the article says "unthinkable sports will ignore official guidance given their duty of care to those attending". Unthinkable? The government said the same kind of thing for nightclubs and minutes later one of the biggest conglomerates owning nightclubs around the UK announced they wouldn't be doing any checks or requiring any mask wearing. I think it's been largely the same on trains apart from TFL.

We used it for Wimbledon. Fairly straight forward if you are OK with smart phones.
I use it for repeat prescriptions as well. A lot less hassle.

We'll I'm buggered then..there are no plans to issue passports up here....apparently they discriminate against illegal residents who cannot register with the NHS. And also live In nicola sturgeons constituent.

You can also just lie on the app so no one will miss out if they really want to go to a game.

There's no passport as such Amberman8, not yet anyway but you can register with NHS inform Scotland and access your jab history(which you can then print off).

I never knew this but what I would say is that at some point in time they'll need to adopt a unified approach on it...

I used randox and received my tests within 48 hours, the drop off box is at the small gym on dock street next to rugby tavern. The cost with airline voucher code for day 2 and 8 is currently £86 for both. As others have stated track and trace is a pain in the backside, rang wife and myself every single day and also knocked on front door one evening to check we was at home. The only time you are allowed to leave home was to drop off tests and if there is a good medical reason

I won't be going this season if we have to wear a mask simple as that. Although it is probably in your best interests to wear a mask on public transport and that was before covid arrived.
