Great shout! Even though I was born in the year he signed, he actually won something of merit and played for a few seasons in the top flight. He seems to be the forgotten man. The worst I've seen would be Siberski, but I reckon Hamiltons continental contingent took some beating Derveld, De Waard and De Blassis. Jurgen Colin was another bit of poor business on Worthingtons behalf.
What a shame Mike Sheron wasn't foreign - he have won the worst player category by a country mile - which is further than he could ever be bothered to run in a yellow shirt
