Scattered, so not an issue. I did shout Ow after a particularly loud bang. They laughed at the reaction <laugh>

I need two, Tobes. They're worse, apparently <yikes>

**** me lad, sounds like some proper medieval ****, apart from the sterility and all the drugs <laugh>

I went the doctor this morning cos I've had his spot thing on my jaw that won't go away, was worried about skin cancer, turns out it's 'mild folliculitis' <laugh> ... fit GP though so worth the visit, even though I'd just dumped my load all over last night's milkmaid got a proper rock on

Well in mate, and glad it went well. No, my dig re-nurses wasn't aimed AT nurses. I had a prostectomy (sp) back in May in Castle Hill, Hull. As with your experience, the NHS at its best is fantastical, but two weeks later when I had my catheter out I got a wretched infection sepsis thing, and I was kept in for a week. I was in no pain, just bloody ill, but the ward was full of guys with kidney stones and prosatitis (sp) - it was like the Somme. Two nights of this were with one nurse covering a total mixed ward of 42 of us. She was the only one who could administer pain medication: utter bedlam.

The nurse themselves were fantastic though - just not enough of them. Anyway, good that you're back. <ok>

    u

Nothing mild about foliliclitis when it takes hold I can tell you. About four years ago my calves came up like bubble-wrap because I'd been rubbing too much Deep Heat and liniment oil in them. This year in Cape Verde they kicked off again when I got sunburned. Even when you get it down with antibiotics and bathing with clear, soapless water, it can still kick off again years later, like prickly heat.

    Yeeeeeeaaah thanks for that

It's literally one spot thing I've got, sometimes it gets sore and like a crust / scab thing on it particularly in cold weather. Been looking at treatments and antiseptic/antibacterial swabbing seems to be the one that comes up most ... gonna try that

It's been there over a year and looks exactly like a skin cancer thing so was a bit paranoid
