Same here, the smell of whisky is enough to turn my stomach after a rough night necking a bottle as a teenager. :(
Someone tried to make me try a Jack Daniels mixed with honey (wtf) on New Years eve, gave them short thrift.

Yep, I did exactly the same with Bacardi and Coke, over forty years ago, consequently I can't stand any spirit mixed with Coke, not even vodka which is my favourite tipple.

Has everyone got a 'drink they can't drink', cos they vommed on it as a teenager?

Mine is Southern Comfort. Necked almost a full bottle when I was 18, trying to impress a girl I fancied.

Then collapsed in the outside lavvy of my mate's house until his Mam found me about 2 hours later.

The girl? Well of course, dear reader, I married her.

Nah. Not really. She thought I was a dick.

Which to be fair, I was.

Can’t drink Southern Comfort at all, even the smell hurts!

(School days, Southern Comfort on top of home made wine...and wotsits)

Yep, i'll third that, went to Tenerife in my "clubbing years", (was out there when Euro 96 was on which was great, especially when we knocked Spain out).
Starting drinking Southern Comfort in the bars on a night........2 for the price of 1......4 for the price of 1........etc.
Was as sick as dog and cannot stand that either........

....... and mine too; after getting absolutely ****faced on snakebite in Trogg Bar in the early 70's, I didn't drink cyder for the best part of 30 years either. There's time for Southern Comfort yet I guess <laugh>

Sick as a dog on cider at 13. Couldn't touch it for at least ten years. Then got back into it again.
Woke up one Sunday morning with the portobello st sign in bed with me...
Dragged myself downstairs where I'd left the dog In the back garden all night and then retraced my steps down portobello picking up my clothes. <laugh>

Also remember been rough as **** on rum and black at crystal goblet or annabelles!! Side of tiffanys. Bout 16 I was.

Pernod. Two of my cousins dared me to drink a pint of rocket fuel (every spirit in the house in one glass). I must've been acting the hard man I suppose, because down it went. I was 14 years old and I was lucky to reach 15.

The overwhelming memory of that pint was Pernod. I was shockingly ill for three days and I've never touched it since.
