Had a 147 a few years ago... 2 litre twin sport... Beautiful, but it was the most temperamental motor ever.
On a scirocco now. It's the nuts.
Great car.

Scirroco's class but a little Citroen DS3 cheap & cheerful.
I work for Toyota and am currently driving a Yaris, the new one is rather nice and has a cool media system, if your after good fuel economy go for the 1.4 diesel. Or if you can wait until next summer the hybrid version is out, you will get about 90 mpg. It's also full of gadgets.I don't fancy anything much bigger than a Yaris, Clio, Polo etc so I can rule out a Megane, they are good looking mind. I've driven Minis before (both old and new). The old ones are essentially go karts with a roof.
Fiestas have horrible dashboards so that a no. A Yaris I'm indifferent to, yes its going to do what it says on the tin but it lacks a bit of style like the Mito. As a current Micra driver I yearn for a bit of style.
(And on a side note, theres been rumblings about the quality of the Sunderland board and that there is nothing on anything other than football. Yet if you post anything else, none of my fellow Sunderland fans bother to contribute.)
Think I'll stick with my SAAB Convertible - its the dogs bollocks of a gas guzzler - but am thinking of getting a Copen for a wee runabout, coz of its sheer quirkyness

PS - Col, just f u c k o f f eh!!!

for good value have a look at the Chevrolet Spark. I think they look sporty although in reality they are not that quick.
We have one and no complaints though and for the money a decent car. In fact we have two Chevrolets and to date no issues at all.

I'm after a new little car because they are cheap to run, insure etc.
I don't want something like Fiat 500 because its a Fiat and it is a 50s throw back. So that rules out a Mini as well.
I want something with a bit of quality and was thinking of maybe a Clio or an Audi A1. Or a Mito perhaps, but is that just a case of style over substance.

The new A1's look great.
