There's plenty of excellent footballers who are almost completely one footed mind. Arjen Robben being the best example, but Odegaard is in with a shout of being player of the season and being a title winning captain despite having no right foot.
Agree. I judge them in terms of how they improved us as a team. Having Evans in the team a) got us to the PL and b) kept us in the PL. He was massive for us in both half seasons
Although it was a very short loan, Stewart Downing scored 3 in 6. Given, Evans, Mensah, Rose, Alonso, M'Vila, and Borini's loans were all very good.
I'm going to throw Jack Clarke in here. He contributed to the promotion winning team last season, particularly in the playoffs. But without that loan, I don't expect that we'd have been able to sign him this season. For me he's player of the season this year and potentially the most exciting winger we've had for decades. So for that alone, it was a great loan signing.
