Just out of interest who do you think the best Rovers player is to have played for City, has to of played for Rovers before City. I can't think of to many from my era of watching the gas I would say Steve Phillips is the best former City player.

Many people overlook Pete Aitken. The only player to captain BOTH teams,. Still doing great work at Rovers

Thinking back, I still cant believe, that Ray Cashley, Donnie Gillies & Trevor Jacobs went onto play for Rovers. The best exCity player to play for Rovers...........Johnny Watkins.
Did n'tTony Ford go across to the blue side? He was a proper tough tackling full back,with hell of a shot on him.
Terry Cooper, slight cheat because he went from City to Rovers and then back again via Doncaster.
