Sam isn't going to play a reserve team whatever happens, so that one can be put to bed.

The extra exposure from being on telly will help, as well as the supporters who can't/ aren't going to the game.

Yes it would. But as Southampton totally foooooked up on saturday anyway who cares anymore other than saints fans.??

In relation to the thread and Hull City more to the point A DRAW tonight is the best result. I want the hammers to suffer as much as possible. Hence why the draw Is the Best result tonight for us.

West Ham will have the bit between their teeth after Southampton lost on Saturday. I see what Tickler's saying with regards to a draw tonight, if there's an automatic spot still to play for on Saturday then West Ham will go out all guns blazing (you'd think so anyway) and it becomes a tougher prospect for us than if West Ham can't get the last automatic place. However, it'll be a tough game regardless of the circumstances for The Hammers and at least a win for them tonight means Leicester can't overtake us, assuring us of at least 9th place. West Ham to win, Southampton still in the driving seat for 2nd place though.

No your the mental one. Read whats posted -. OK ?????

IF the game tonight ends in a draw THAT ends the race for 2nd spot. It also means that Lesta Cannot overhaul us anymore. This thread is about whats best tonight and for Hull City. Southampton should be up now but chucked it all away on saturday. A draw tonight gets Saints off the hook and makes saturdays game with West Ham meaningless.

Thats why the race for 6th spot will take priority for TV. Even you should be able to understand that ? <ok>

sorry for appearing stupid - will one match be on the bbc, and if so will this be announced tomorrow. if it's West Ham vs Hull you can predict how biased towards the London club the coverage will be, as everyone "loves" West Ham

Not at all. As for West Ham winning being best ? Your not worth a discussion. Your the simple one as your reply shows. <doh>

Not bothered either way, but would like West Ham to win so we might have a possible say on who goes up and who goes to the play-offs.

Mind you, probably irrelevant, as I can't see Southampton not beating Coventry on Saturday.

Indeed. Hence why a Draw is the best result for Hull City. The people on here who want West Ham to win beggars belief. I would suggest (after the Tevez fiasco) that the whole nation almost will be routing for Leicester tonight.

I would expect sky to cover the Cardiff & Middlesboro games regardless though.

Sky are showing the Sheffield Utd v. Stevenage game Live @ 5.20pm saturday and IF Sheff.Weds have already won @ Brentford they will be in 2nd place prior to Blades ko. I wonder if the loss of Chad Evans will prove crucial to the Blades.?

I love the idea of ruining West Hams party ourselves on TV, so a West Ham win for me tonight.

Both ruining the party and being televised might give us that adding incentive for a game we'd probably wouldn't turn up for if there wasn't anything to play for.

You're more bothered about where West Ham will finish, than you are about what's good for Hull City.

If they win tonight, then our game will be televised. Not only does that mean that thousands of City fans who aren't going to London will be able to watch the game, but it means that we have a chance to decide the outcome of the most valuable game in world football.

Not only will City fans be able to watch the game, but helping to decide who gets promoted will raise our profile and help our summer recruitment too.

A West Ham win is so much better for us in every way, a draw does **** all for us.

It depends how we help decide it. If we lose 6-0 it'll hardly raise the profile <laugh>

Personally I hope West Ham win - it would make the last game more dramatic, it would be on TV, and give us the chance to be the team that stops them going up.

Southampton's last game is at home against Coventry, so I think West Ham are finishing 3rd even if they beat us and Leicester 10-0...

As long as Leicester don't win, I'm happy <cheers>

    (So they probably will, 4-2)

Whilst you are entitled to your opinion thats ^^^^^^^ Utter Nonsense. It makes no difference to me and i certainly dont want to see us possibly thrashed live on tv thats for sure.!! Now that would harm us in the summer. Hull City winning and hopefully finishing 7th (If Middlesboro fail to win @ watford) would make us look better in the end.

Hense why a draw is the best result tonight. Big Sam will rest players on saturday if they dont win tonight. He has already said as much. I want whats best for Hull City all the time. Even you should know that by now. West Ham slipping up tonight would make our task on saturday that much easier.
