Messi in Barcelonas training session at LR last season before they played Arsenal in the Champions league. But for us? Never got to see Rodney, Stanley was amazing. Sir Les a legend. Wilkins was magical. Short and sweet glimpses of Ossie Ardiles. But who was the best? All a matter of opinion.
Best player - Sir Les - single handed kept us up with his goals. Favourite - Ray Wilkins (although honourable mentions go to Wegerle and Sinclair). Player I'd like to see - Denilson (the one who played for Betis not the light weight Gooner) - I love the dribblers (makes me sound like the scourge of old folks homes). Worst - Mike Sheron. Least like to play for us - anyone morally bankrupt eg Joey barton, Marlon king etc.
Best player you've ever seen in a QPR shirt: Bowles is our best ever player Favourite player you've ever seen in a QPR shirt: And also my favourite Player you would most like at QPR, Dead or alive?: Best, (not Leon!)
Best Bowles Fav Alan Macdonald Most like to see Cruyff Lots of competition for the worst - Devon White
Best player - Stan Bowles Favourite player - Stan Bowles - Anyone that can knock the FA Cup off it's plinth at Sunderland four days after they won it for bet is my type of player! Most like to see - Eusebio - In the 60s he was Europe's top striker, one of the most clinical finishers you'd see with fantastic all round skill and a true sportsman. In the 68 European Cup Final against ManUre he was through on goal in the last minute with the score 1-1, he hit a rocket shot but Alex Stepney made an incredible save. Eusebio stood and applauded him, the guy was pure class. Worst player - Has to be Ned 'versatile as an egg' Zelic - a major contributor to our relegation. Least favourite player - Vinny Jones - The antithesis of QPR Least like to see - Take your pick of the usual badboy suspects...
Best: Stan Bowles Favourite: Rodneeeeeeeee Most like to see: a young Les Ferdinand - just the sort of player we need right now Worst: Marc Nygaard (can't believe he hasn't been mentioned yet: couldn't head, pass, shoot, or control a bag of cement) Least favourite: Vinny Jones (an embarassment in every sense) Least like to see: Carlos Tevez (has all the worst characteristics of a modern footballer: a lying, greedy, ungrateful, hypocrite)
Best - Stan Fav - Ray Wilkins Most wanted - Zidane (maybe he could team up with Matterazzi when he comes!)
Best: Les Ferdinand Fav: Les Ferdinand Worst: Stefan 'please no' Moore or John 'slow as ****' Curtis Most Wanted: Messi Least Wanted: Kevin Muscat (ughhh)
Best: Gareth Ainsworth Worst: Bob Malcolm, Carl Ikeme, Zesh Rehman (anyone from our "wandering " period) Favourite: Martin Rowlands Least Favourite: Clarke Carlisle Dead or alive: close call between leon knight and john terry (both very very dead)
