Rooney for me. I must admit I actually enjoyed watching him at LR! He was brilliant and ran the game. Fantastic touch, skill, movement, vision....he has everything!!
Yeah, I agree - I just hope we see the best of him in the international game before he's over the top
Going to throw another name into the ring.... Al Habsi. I know we put three past him, but none were his fault, and he pulled of some terrific saves. Best opposing keeper I've seen at LR all season.
You'll either have Bale on the list, or wonder what all the fuss is about, because of the type of player he is. Modric will always impress you, but rarely actually stands out.
You know exactly what you'll get with Parker - 100% commitment, solid tackling, decent going forward, 8/10 performance in almost every game - rarely more, rarely less. I doubt he will really stand out against you lot because, with no disrespect meant, he's more likely to stand out against the better teams (e.g. Liverpool last week). Bale is usually either 9/10 and MOTM or 5/10 and a disappointment. He also has an amazing ability to be crap but produce one moment of magic which results in a goal.
Has to be David Silva, his vision and subtley are just incredible. He can unlock the best defences as well as score, he really is the complete player. Rooney was great on the day against us but we really didn't turn up and made it easy for him...
