His brother maybe? Unless being good enough for Inter Milan doesn't count of course...

And as for the OP, Petrov for me. Did it consistently for us at home and in Europe for many years.

People tend to romanticise memories and no doubt Lubo contributed greatly to a very very unexpected hammering of Der Hun, however, Lambert played an unromantIc role. He did the work horse role, but was world class and remember he marked Zidane out of the EC. When he left BD there was genuine regret, but grateful thanks from the fans there, who had appreciated what he had done for the club. Lambo was a world class player in the role he played, a vital one to many Celtic victories. Lippi tried not once, but twice to take him to Juve. Lippi knew Paul's true value and he was a fans player.......not once do I remember The captain leaving the players family lounge until it was empty.

We have been truly blessed with midfield players. Petrov was quality as well and never gave less than his best.

Right wing back in the Barnes era.... Crazy.

I can't even count...or time flies. Lubbock left in 2002.... Time and tide waits for no man.

"If anything the signing of Lubomir Moravcik at a cut price has merely caused them further embarrassment."
Jim Traynor (journo) on Celtic buying Lubo, another journo wrong (1998)

"Tell him I was never a zero!"
Lubo through an interpreter to a Scotland On Sunday journalist who after the Classic 5-1 victory over Rangers in 1998 asked him "How does it feel to go from being a zero to a hero?"

"I was fortunate to play at Celtic Park in the same game as Lubo, but not fortunate with the way he played against us!"

    Patel Nedved (Juventus)

    http://www.thecelticwiki.com/page/Moravcik, Lubo

Seriously though, you'd wonder how nobody had taken a punt on him.

He was injured that time but in general I don't get how we got so lucky. I remember thinking when we won the league cup that this was the first silverware of his career. Incredible for a man with so much ability.

Liked a smoke and a drink did our Lubo, but in terms of natural talent there was nothing like him in recent years.

I would like to think that too. We had a wonderful feel about us then. As we do now to be fair.

    1:23 just expressing himself

He played in Jackie Macs testimonial against international defenders as an old retired man and still mugged them off.

Tough one, but to be fair Big Vic should not be mentioned in the same breath, he's been tremendous but he's only been with us for just over a season.

If Pushed i'd probably go for Lambert, but Stan was a big favourite of mine. Lubo? Pure class but I would not really class him as a midfielder.
