Comm, I'm thinking of doing a tour of Vietnam then a week on the beach in Thailand for my next holiday. I love a nice beach and lots of luxury and pampering, where would you recommend?
Avoid Samui and Phuket, but around that area are some lovely islands. Further up you have Hua Hin and Cha Am, very nice, lots of top hotels. Be careful what time of year you go.
Don't tell comm when/where, he'll turn up next to you at the pool with a crate of rum and 400 ***s. That's his sort of pampering.
Its the cooler time now. Still ****ing hot around 32/33. Problem with this time of year is its high season, every **** is here. But if you get the right place that shouldnt matter.
Thats why i wont go. Lovely pics, you get there and about a million ****ing people. Good thing is a lot of the russians have ****ed off.
It's the wife that wants to tour Vietnam. Wants to see all the ancient temples and sites. I've told her if we go I want to see the tunnels they used in the war.

read a couple of books on them tunnels. The traps and stuff that were in there were pretty nasty mind, hats off to the tunnel rats that went down there with just a torch, knife and pistol.
