I think Arsenal with Fabregas may have been in for a shout but ever since they signed Benayoun they are down the bottom.
Actually on the subject of left back screamers, anybody remember Briggs' goal for us against Crusaders in the Europa League qualifiers? A great finish.
Loopy you are on the wrong forum, this is an article called 'Best Fulham Goals' not 'Worst Convicts to Play for Us'
I'm not so sure, I saw an interview awhile back and Dempsey get asked about that goal and talks about it as if he was trying to score. Something "99 out 100 times, I would have missed." I'd find the interview for you, but I'm on my phone. It's possible he's trying to play it off like he meant it, but what sells it for me was the way he strikes the ball. He has his back to goal and as he turns and hits the ball, as soon as he makes contact with the ball he stops. As if he knew exactly where he wanted the ball to go. Just my opinion.
Looking back at the goal, there is no-one remotely close to where Clint would have been looking for the pass to end up which means it had to be an absolutely woeful pass or an incredible shot. I believe in the latter.
