You ain't lived until you tried spiked watermelon on a bloody hot day. Take a watermelon, cut a small round piece out of one end, pour in a bottle of your favourite spirits, place piece back in then refrigerate. Place in ice cooler and get stuck into it mid afternoon when the sun is at it's worst.
If I'm cutting a hole in a melon it'll no be for alcoholic purposes, believe me.

Fruit is not really fit for human consumption, any of it. Though it's just about acceptable if it comes in a tin.
