Family braincell in use by somebody else tonight? What the **** is your problem. I never mentioned the founder of the SAS. Then you jump down my throat insisting Mayne started it and not Stirling. I take your word for it because I don't claim to know, i'm also confused because it had nothing to do with my original post in any case. Then when I agree (couldn't be bothered to research it) you say i'm stupid for agreeing that Mayne was the founder. Make your mind up you prick. Go an disappear up your own arsehole you dumb ****. You are the reason why Irish jokes exist!
SAS LOL Funny how, them being so hard, they have to write books to make money once they are out, why not ermmmm... fight, if they are so hard ? could earn millions
It's ok i've figured out your problem. Irish Republican with a chip on your shoulder because even your local murderous militia won't take a useless **** like you (even they have standards). So you take out your anti-British anger online. Pathetic tosser
How exactly did that work Irish? What year did the SAS withdraw from South Armagh and for what reasons? They don't all write books you know, some of them do menial jobs when they leave the Army some do "security" work for which they are exceptionally well paid. As individuals they may not all be "hard" by your definition but they are highly trained and much sought after by people who know what they bring to the table.
What has a person to do with the fighting prowess of a nation. Bit off track here. All Armed Services, from all countries, will have crap personnel, as well as great. It makes no difference whether they be Irish or not. On the other hand, just being Irish is no guarantee that he/she will be a great soldier.
Imagine it was your job to train the afghan army shouldnt laugh really.
I saw an ex Foreign Legion officer on TV once talking about Scots. He said they were either the best soldiers or the very worst, no in between That kinda sums us up I think.
It does not surprise me at all, in WW2 (specifically Monte Cassino) they the South Africans and the Indians were the ones sent in to do the real dirty work.
