Best/favourite team of the Liebherr era

I'm the only ****er who likes the diamond apparently

 

I liked that diamond and saw how it was working or at least how it could work well. If only we’d been more patient.

I didn’t vote in a formation, sommy because I think they are mostly irrelevant and a team should be flexible enough to work around and adjust during a game. You need a good coach who can spot things and a handful of “football intelligent” players who can lead the changes on the pitch.

 

its like wenger said. if we had been able to keep all the players from recenet years a saints best 11 (from the Liebherr era) would be champions
(as it is we're lucky to still be in the top flight)!!!!

 

For what it's worth generally speaking I agree with you regarding formations. Just with something like this it will be a lot easier if it's established beforehand.
