One of our favourites was going into a narrow street of victorian houses... tieing fishing line to the knocker of one front door then to a house opposite... give the fishing line a tug so as to knock the door of one house they'd open their door to find no one, thusly knocking the door of the house opposite... who would then open their door thusly re knocking the door of the house opposite.. hours of fun hiding watching people get annoyed..
It was called Knock down Ginger in my day. If we did that now we'd all end up in borstal for discrimination.
Do you work for the health an safety executive?? no one ever got decapitated as far as i can remember...
Get with the times. Nothing wrong with being gay. You're just a homophobe who does not want to try it in case you enjoy it too much.
We had a `Rappin' door night' the night before Halloween, it got out of hand in later years and the police ended all the fun. A few doors got kicked in, broken or smashed.
Right - so far we have established there's about 8 different names for the game that involves school kids knocking on someone's door and running away. Is it really any surprise that people in different cities, never mind the different constituent parts of the UK, can never agree on anything?!
From a google search: sadly stoat the baw has totally changed in meaning now . since the 1960`s at least "stoat the baw" is a name given to child molesters . this comes from the idea that an offending adult would join in the kids games to gain their confidence
