10 new faces, 9 games in, what in your opinion is now our best eleven based on what you've witnessed this season? It's fair to say that new signings, inclusion of players have sparked a difference of opinion amongst us. I thought it was would be interesting to gauge your opinions.

For me..

-------------------Mignolet-------------------
Manquillo--Skrtel--Sahko--Enrique
-------------------Henderson------------------
--------------Allen-------------Couts----------
----------------------Sterling---------------------
------------Sturridge-----Balotelli*---------

*For me the diamond gets the most out of our team, and Balotelli is the best out of a bad bunch to go alongside Sturridge

------------------ mignolet ---------------------
manquillo----lovren-----sakho-----moreno

--------------- allen ---------------------

-----henderson---------coutinho ---------
------------- markovic-------------
-------sturridge------sterling--------

Balotelli doesnt deserve to be the best of a bad bunch. At least the others put the effort in. Lallana is a quality player and should be included. Henderson would be wasted as a holding player.

I don't get why some of you seem to rate Allen so highly. I wouldn't want him in the bench. He's utterly average, does must head in when fans think he's good enough for us. He could run around the pitch all day, But that's the only thing he's good at. I wouldn't mind him playing against the likes Burnley or some league1 side, because that's his level. To be a ****ing starter though, you're having a laugh.

He was completely out of his depth against Madrid, tbh the whole team had a mare, but my word Allen was ****e. Not a single tackle or interception, a dribble or a meaningful ball forward. He was probably star struck out there.

Can't complain about his effort though, atleast he tries hard but so does Cattermole, doesn't mean he should start for us.

Problem is he's in direct competition with Coutinho for a spot in the starting XI, and most fans seem to prefer Coutinho.

Start with Lallana and bring on Coutinho as he seems to make a real impact from the bench.

Or change formation, play both and have him left of a front three? There is an argument for Rodgers changing formation now that Suarez has gone.

-------------------Mignolet-------------------
Manquillo--Lovren--Sahko--Moreno
----------------------Can------------------
---Henderson/Lallana-------------Couts/Lallana----------
---------------------Sterling---------------------
------------Sturridge-----Balotelli*---------

I think Sturridge's return will make it a lot easier for Ballotelli to play his game. Against Spurs they showed alot of promise. He's certainly not enjoying playing as the sole striker.

Lallana should rotate with Couts and Hendo. He's been good so far.

Can shows a lot of promise. He's a big lad but also quick. Hopefully takes over Gerrards place by December.

Mignolet
Manquilo Lovren Sakho Moreno
Allen/Can
Henderson Lallana
Coutinho
Sturridge Sterling
I'd roll with that and stick with it. The players are all technical and will gel soon enough with consistent game time along side eachother. Gerrard coming off the bench could make a real impact up field with through balls behind a tiring defense and Markovic coming on at the same time could exploit that too.

Mignolet
Manquillo, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno
Henderson, Gerrard, Allen
Sterling
Balotelli, Sturridge

Basically the team that started against Spurs with Skrtel coming in for Sakho.

Feel free to send him back to us then <ok>

Flanno - good shout

No question for me, got to be Flanno.

Also, the line up I picked is based on my small, medium and large cogs theory.

Small cogs are the players. We don't have any world class stars in our side so this is a bit of a non-entity at present.

Medium cogs are partnerships. Whether they are decent established or potential partnership:
1) Hendo and Flanno
2) Moreno and Lallana (albeit brief evidence)
3) Allen and Hendo
4) Coutinho and Lallana (both can play each role so as potential)
5) Coutinho and Sturridge
6) Coutinho and Sterling
7) Stelring and Sturridge

There is only one large cog; the team. Small cogs are a minor part of this theory, the most important factor is the large cog and the only way this one works is if there are plenty of working established medium cogs. Seven is a decent amount but it could be better, especially defensively!

Or, in short, you picked my team but swapped Manquillo for Flanno <ok>

This isn't the first time you've copied my formations and team selections. I'm making mental notes

Maybe you've just read all 57,341 of my comments and subconsciously you are starting to think like me :)
