Lot of Dortmund fans actually saying Mkhitaryan has been their best player this season, which is surprising considering how many goals Aubameyang has got.

He's been class - think he's got double figures for goals and assists. Had a tough time last year due to injuries but he's really stepped up.

just think where we'd be if you got some of the players we were heavily linked with in last couple years but went elsewhere instead....
Henri Ryan, Willian, Sanchez, texiera attack would have been very exciting if had for 1 or 2 of them :(

With Klopp in charge, I think we have a big chance of landing our targets. <ok>

The thing is though even if we had signed them I'm not convinced Rodgers would've got the best out of them. We have a history of misusing players we have signed. Square pegs in round holes all the time.

Ahh but your last 6 months would have been wonderful with Klopp improving them like he has the present players (Sturridge etc) <ok>

Sturridge is fine. He's coming off almost a 2 year absence, of course he's going to be rusty and look a bit behind the pace at times. Especially when playing the lone striker role which is one of the most demanding in football. You simply need to look at the improvement in the likes of Moreno, Lovren, Emre Can, Lucas, Firmino & Origi as evidence of the improvements that have been made since Klopp came in.

You can be snide if you like though, nobody cares because we're all happy with Klopp and believe he's steering us in the right direction. I think it speaks volumes that you constantly talk Rodgers up and try to compare Klopp unfavourably to him at every turn though.

  11. Studge always plays well (well, scores a goal or two) initially after returning from injury before disappearing for half a dozen whilst refinding his feet.

Not snide at all mate, just passing fair comment.
Klopp is getting much more out of Lallana and Lovren and Lucas. Can and Moreno, no.
Firmino is now settling into the Premier League and so should be improving as should Origi (who will also get better with age regardless of manager).
Sturridge has been back for a few weeks now and is looking like he did before you bought him, some managers just get more out of certain players than others.
