Got to be Wiggins winning the TDF though Farah and Murray run it close. Reason? No Briton has ever won before, so a unique achievement
Im not going to vote on this,it's just too hard to pick one. Suffice to say Britain owns the planet once again. One other thing though, Man City won the prem because they have the most money. That's the way football is now. Where's the achievment in that ? You can't mention Man city and Storey in the same breath. If you think you can... i don't know ? your just very wrong.
It doesn't always works though does it? Leicester had the most money last season in this league and didn't get anywhere near promotion all season. Man Utd have a ****-ton of money too, so do Chelsea. In fact most of the PL have a **** load. Just because Man City gained their wealth more recently, I don't see why there's a problem with that. It's not as impressive or inspiring as a paralympian battling back from injury or disability to achieve something amazing, but it was still an amazing PL season and an amazing finish, it's our national game and incredibly competitive, which, with the best will in the world, the Paralympics simply aren't. As with every argument on this thread, you can look at it any one of several ways. All this proves is that it has been a ****ing awesome summer of sport.
We put a lot of money in to our Cycling teams. You could easily argue that we have "bought" those medals - but it would be silly to do so, in the same way that it would be silly to say that Man City 'bought' the Premier League.
Ahead of Team GB, I doubt it. Anyway if it was an option I would have voted for David Weir's 4 gold pick up at the Paralympics but it wasnt so i've voted for Mo Farah, never before has an athlete had me screaming at the TV hoping they'd win
You know what im going to say next,so why should i even bother ? It's like that on forums though. Im not sure why i do this really.
Wiggins. 3 weeks of cycling and the first Brit to win the tour. Funniest moment Boris Johnson's speech yesterday.
