A lad know, knows a lad with a surviving Beatle sir name and he says Beatles fans go on a bit strange with him once they find out his name, ie shock etc. "Any relation", "have you checked"? etc. He says the meltdown is unreal when he tells them he isn’t really a fan.

This is tough for all the reasons posted already and I’m struggling to get 3 of George Harrison’s so went with a favourite 5!
  1. While My Guitar Gently Weeps

  2. Something

  3. Here Comes the Sun

  4. Within You Without You

  5. Taxman
And nobody has mentioned She’s Leaving Home yet so I’ve added that in to jog memories.

I'm a big Beatles fan and never heard of some of these tracks.

I did hear that they didn't want to release too many at once as they would have flooded the market and filled up the top 20 chart hits.

The first 3 I thought of were
- The Long and Winding Road
- While My Guitar Gently Weeps
- Yesterday

Then after seeing other peoples suggestions, I was swayed to change it as there are so many excellent titles to choose from, but decided to stick with my first thoughts.

Not in any particular order and what a c*nt of a question.
The Long and winding road
Help
While my guitar gently weeps.

Could have done a top 10 easily.

A Day in the Life (drums are superb, crescendo, McCartney’s section, just a top piece of music)
Strawberry Fields Forever (innovation, drums great again)
Rain (them drums again):1980_boogie_down:
Big Ringo fan obviously

Ringo was a better drummer than some give him credit for. Dave Grohl, John Bonham and Clem Burke are just three great drummers who cited him as their hero and inspiration.

Agreed. I have arguments about Ringo now and again. Other drummers are better technically but it's more about what a group of musicians each bring to a band. The Beatles wouldn't have been the Beatles without him.

Not really the best 3, but 3 that people may not know. My sister saw the Beatles play some little club in Stockton, early in their career.

Savoy Truffle
Lovely Rita
Hey Bulldog
